Leaven is a picture of sin again due to fermentation which causes bread to rise, again the gases from the rotting process. So sorry, can’t have it both ways commonly called straddling the fence. Yes I cuss yes I drink if that makes me a bad shit hand me a beer. It is either bad or good, yes or no. No compromise. Perfect example why so many are confused with Bible , saying it has contradictions. No such thing.
Hot Yes I cuss yes I drink if that makes me a bad shit hand me a beer tee!
Called the fruit of the vine, not the winery. Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging. and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Also… the wine at the Lord’s Supper had no alcohol. Picturing Jesus’ perfect ,sinless blood, alcohol forms through fermentation. Fermentation is the process of rotting, Yes I cuss yes I drink if that makes me a bad shit hand me a beer. which rotting is the process of sin causing death. Also why the bread Christ used was unleavened bread.
If you know Hebrew and Greek you would know that our English word wine has about 7 words in the Bible… all different meanings. One being juice, why it is called the fruit of the vine. You do not get alcohol off the vine. Just trying to help. Many do not read the Bible in proper context, this why many say there are different interpretations.
Get it now or Cry later!
So Jews on their wedings dont drink alcohol?? Because your hebrew text tell you so???? I think historical and culturological text is more important here than your understanding od hebrew. Yes your analysis of the word and various meanings or connotations is correct, but u r removing context. It is clear in scripture when using hood hermeneutics that wine was served by, jesus, shared by the apostles, and with followers. The wine in those days is thought to only be between 3-6% so it was weaker.
Jesus did not make juice out if water…nor was ge speaking about good juice vs weak juice. Its dishonest to misuse scripture. Wine make the heart happy is not speaking about juice. The truth is found where it usually is in a human discussion with differing opinions, in the middle! For Eric, he believes it’s a sin so he shouldn’t drink wine at all. “one mans meat is another mans poison” is written for a reason! Gluttony is not ambiguous, we all agree that it’s ‘wrong’ to be a glutton, that applies to everything, including wine. Do not be a ‘drunkard’ is what we’re instructed. Do not stumble others by our personal Liberty ‘either’. No reason to argue about this at all.
