Sharks attack because of food. Normally a great white mistakes a human for a seal then spits us out because of our taste or in other species it’s a test bite and they swim off. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger except sharks. So maybe Star’s feelings get hurt when her nonsense is called out, but the survival of more species than I care to consider depends on drawing attention to how ridiculous these ignorance-based myths are.
Cool What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger except sharks designs!
Orca don’t just attack people- just like sharks, they’re cases of mistaken identity. Sharks attack because of a mistake in identifying food or because they feel them or their territory is threatened. Orca doesn’t attack people unless they’re in captivity. The perception that sharks attack for no reason is one of the things that is driving them to extinction, What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger except sharks. and the survival of the various species is more important than the beliefs of any culture or individual. The same applies to attribute nonsensical motives to species incapable of them.
It’s ignorant nonsense like this that leads to a misunderstanding of many species, and therefore our abject failure to protect them, and worse, their deliberate destruction at our hands. When someone makes claims of these sorts, and then declares to any who refute them that “you need to educate yourself on history, your wrong, learn about wildlife more lol”, it needs to be pointed out how ludicrous their perspective is because they are both a cause and a symptom of the problem, and their ignorance is incredibly destructive.
Have nice day and get it!
Most sharks definitely don’t attack for no reason. There have been a few cases of rogue sharks, but those cases are very rare. Most shark attacks are a case of mistaken identity or a case of curiosity. Sharks are very intelligent and extremely curious, so the sound of splashing or the sun shining off of a bracelet or watch may seem like a fish. Sharks don’t see all the colors we can see
So a lot of times things that aren’t a part of their normal diet, such as humans, look like prey. While Orcas normally don’t attack humans, their attacks are always very strategic. Most sharks hunt alone, while Orcas hunt in pods and communicate with each other to wear out their prey before eating.
Orcas are vastly intelligent and that creates the potential for mischief and even cruelty. They’re excellent pack hunters and are known for brutalizing their prey for the hell of it. Do not mistake them for protectors, they have a capacity for evil just like Dolphins.
