The grinch nurse I can’t fix stupid but I can sedate it item
Not one facility I have ever worked at allows any staff member to accept a gift from any family member. It always has to be shared among the other staff members! FACT! No one is trying to be ugly or anything just stating the facts. it is not a matter of being a hater. You don’t work in a hospital. We do. The grinch nurse I can’t fix stupid but I can sedate it I’m a licensed healthcare professional. I have been for several decades. They have very strict rules and guidelines. She would get fired and reported to the nursing board for that! Unless this happened in Canada? I don’t know if they are different?
it is the facilities business when you are the employee. Funny how you people that don’t work in healthcare seem to think you know how it is supposed to be for those of us in healthcare? They started a go fund me site! If you listen you hear the young man say they tried to close down the site but people still want to give. Hear it all, but still not listening are you?
I’m clear on the policies. That money didn’t come out of their pockets, it was from a fundraiser. I never heard of any policy about that, and neither have you. See, it’s you that is clueless to human nature and kindness. Why can’t you just be happy for this woman, and write your local councilman later, if it bothers you so much. Can be true I work for olders we can’t accept money gifts but maybe if she quite she can get that money and how for her education. God Bless! She wasn’t a nurse. She was only a home health care aide…apparently a very good one who dreamed of becoming a real nurse. There’s a big difference. How nice of this family to recognize her gift of caring and want to help her achieve her goal. And for what it’s worth, I am a RN.
