Gorgeous! I wonder what people do with so many sunflowers? And guess they sell the seeds or give them to the chickens or press them into the oil. I bet it’s good for keeping bees too. Sunflower hippie freedom just another word for nothing left to lose. Birds love them. We put out seeds of Mammoth Russian sunflowers we have grown in small dishes around our yard & birdies love to feast on them! No salt
Hot Sunflower hippie freedom just another word for nothing left to lose design!
It’s a biodiesel farm on Maui. Hawaii has a very fragile and unique ecosystem. Sunflowers are non-native and known to be invasive. Please plant native plants! Some of them maybe are what you can buy to either cook with or eat also. I love eating sunflower seeds or putting in salads. Sunflower hippie freedom just another word for nothing left to lose. One chooses what they wish to see in their everyday life, it does not have to be grey. It has been said that happiness and sadness exist on the same table waiting for each of us to choose which one we pick up each day. Make the right choice.
The same is true for the type of day we choose to happen. There is nothing wrong with using videos such as this to help with that choice, but if you always need a video or a book or something outside of you to “help” in that choice then you will never really know true joy, which will only orient from within and your happiness will disappear as quickly as the video or book leaves your sight. There will always be the blue sky above the clouds, one must merely choose not to focus on only the clouds of their lives.
Have a good day and click to get it!
This spring we had an amazing display of dandelions at the entire community where I teach in Chilliwack, B.C. When the wind blew it appeared as though they were waving at us. They’re as ugly as hell if you get one or two in a tiny front garden but quite dazzling in a French countryside like this! Sometimes, your eyeballs need to soak up something green and nurturing, instead of endless concrete ribbons and ramps and traffic. We all need to recharge our batteries to stay sane.
I see the sign when I come home. I drive right by the fruit stand every day! I saw the news was there early this morning went I went to work. I have the twins next weekend and I hope it’s still there! We have corn mazes. This is so much prettier.
It’s always so hot in the mazes here. I always surrender and raise my flag for directions out. Not quite like driving through the French countryside with sunflowers stretching to the horizon, and lovely villages filled with beautiful cafés and relais in which to have a long lunch and relax.
