more on the clingy side perhaps but most of my twenties I was SUPER clingy based on my insecurities from past relationship experiences. I was 120/130lbs when I met my now husband and fast forward 6yrs later, birth of my son and medical issues I ballooned to 256lbs!!! Save a pitbull euthanize a dog fighter retro And yet, because of how loved and secure my husband makes me feel to my core heart, I have more confidence and less clingy tendencies than I did my whole life!! He changed my heart
I think attachment is a term too loosely used these days! You have to consider many things in how humans interact with others such as upbringing, loss, neglect, trauma environment, abandonment, poverty, etc etc..love isn’t defined by attachment!!

I am glad you did this video. It makes me understand what was wrong with my ex. I do believe he had a problem. My ex-husband was very clingy. If I was out of the house for more then 35 minutes, he would call to see where I was and if I was going to be home soon. Then he went from clingy to down right controlling. If I was gone for 35 minutes, he would tell me that I had to come home now. you mentioned to let relationships develop stage by stage. What are those stages? How do you know if you are jumping? Is there anything we can ask ourselves or look at to judge whether we are in a healthy flow when cultivating a relationship?
These are struggles that simple as they sound but excruciating while you’re at it. But I think his pieces of advice are on point. Take time for love to grow deeper and take time for these issues to shrug off naturally. I guess i just dont know how to date.. I just figured that if two people hit it off that they would want to spend more time together to get to know each other and then after a few weeks he always ups and says oh I’m not sure if I want to date or not… i dont get it.. he is willing to hang out the past 6 weeks.. & then hes gone
