I’m proud to admit I was one of those criers. I don’t know how many times I went to the ER with chest pain during nursing school only to be diagnosed with anxiety. Proud school nurse And I’ve been a nurse now for 12 years. Sorry to piss in ur cereal but the criers and worriers make it
Cute Proud school nurse tee!
I was the girl who made really good grades who the teachers really liked. The thing is, I thought pretty much everyone was making good grades. Once I started teaching, I learned the truth. And plenty of poor students made perfectly fine RNs. I don’t remember chemical engineering having to deal with the weight of poeple suffering or in the process dying along with thier studies. Proud school nurse An ASN is the most difficult and most unfair! You still get to test for your RN but after the approximately same amount of schooling in true nursing skills, you end up with a degree that is of less “prestige”. And can’t apply for some of the jobs that we are afforded as nurses. Sucks! Go for your BSN friends.
I’m a bio major and I do research for our medical school. I decided to go to graduate school because I fell in love with the lab and the people in it. I was originally going to apply to our PA school which is WAY WAY more difficult to get into and to finish. It’s one step down from an MD. So sit down. It’s not a bad thing that nursing is not as impossible as other majors. It is not easy either. Just the truth. Science and engineering majors have it harder.
Hope you like our designs!
you’re comparing apples to oranges so stop being so condescending if you don’t know what you’re talking about. PA school isn’t at all comparable to nursing school…one is a masters and one is a bachelors degree. Of course PA school is harder than a bachelors degree program… But then there’s MSN, DNP, CRNA programs that are plenty difficult and much more comparable to PA school.
There’s really no comparison there. No one here is saying a bsn is easy. It’s just absurd to claim it’s anywhere close to the hardest undergrad degree. Anatomy and physiology are not that difficult. There are far more difficult college courses. My roommates were both engineers and one had a really hard time and the other had an easy time. I found my nursing degree difficult because I have difficulty memorizing names without context so biology is hard for me. Math on the other hand is very easy for me so I would have had an easier time doing their engineering degree. University is generally difficult, but it’s a really fun time too. Enjoy the good and work hard through the bad.
Stop trying to act all high and mighty cause you work in a lab haha. You’re trying to compare a masters degree (that you didn’t even do) to a bachelors degree which makes me question if you even really understand healthcare. I’m glad you “decided” to go into a different field
