You commented on Bills shirt. Look up the code about the appropriate wear of the flag on clothing and you will see how truly a nice shirt it is. Proud Machinist flag US. The flag is well represented, moving forward, not in retreat as in the placement of the blue field and stars. The shirt is neat and clean in appearance.
Be cool with Proud Machinist flag US items!
Google kid rock and flag and you’ll see a picture of him with a flag poncho. Not right but done with out intent to disrespect. Where as the NFL players are doing it specifically to denounce America for assorted reasons. However, wearing the flag absolutely does and man do I see people wearing the flag as clothing all the time. Kid rock even made one into a poncho and wore it. Proud Machinist flag US. When you make a big media publicity stunt out of kneeling for the anthem as a deliberate way to show your disdain for the country yes, it disrespects the flag and the country it represents.
Actually John the flag code states the flag can’t even be “printed”. Therefore anything with a flag on it such as a shirt is technically a printing of the flag, therefore disrespectful. Whatever they say it means, is secondary to the fact it is very offensive to Americans, especially veterans. We have just as much of a right to be offended by that as you are to be offended by whatever offends you. I am relentlessly reminded as I drive by faded, torn, & tattered flags that are still being flown. OH! Ntm, I have never seen a flag taken down at dusk every night to be taken proper care of, hence faded, torn, & tattered flags on poles.

Proper destruction is not being done either. The EPA got in the middle of that and said no more retirement ceremonies and stopped them from happening. I would rather see a tattered flag on someone’s house than no flag at all. Some people don’t have money to buy a new flag every couple of months. At least they are showing support by flying a flag. Those huge flags the DoD paid for are a violation of flag code. You are not supposed to hold it flat like that, unless folding it. It’s supposed to only be flown/displayed vertically, so it can fly free.
I will make it easy for citizens especially athletes. Remove your cover stand at attention, shut up, place right hand over your heart and sing the anthem if you know the words! No cheering until the end of song!
