The brain does NOT process the “no”/”not” in a spoken sentence. So when you say ‘I do not want to be poor,” the brain interprets this as ‘I want to be poor,’ so you’ll end up being ‘poor’. Positive thinking and talking suggest we must reformulate our speech and say directly what you want rather than what you DO NOT want.

I heard something similar to this. A volleyball coach kept telling his team not to “let the ball hit the floor” and of course it often did. Another coach told his team to “keep the ball in the air”. His team was more successful than the other team. In the same manner, that when you discipline a Child, say your commands in positive ways! It’ better to say,”Throw your trash in the bin”! than saying “Don’t throw your trash around!” Say lBe quiet” rather than Don’t be noisy!
So it’s known that brain only listens to a command even if it was negation, brain takes the command and ignores the negation, that is why we should talk to our brain in affirmative way I certainly believe in positivity but if you look at that picture, you would see that the boy would have fallen even if he was holding on tight as the branch actually broke.

small he climbed under a broken fence at the edge of a cliff. When we found him he was almost going over, panic sets in, but my husband calmly called him and told him to come away. We watched as he swung round with feet nearly over and came toddling over to us. Phew! If we had shouted he would have been a gonna that’s for sure.
This is so true, as a coach i get tge best results from my students when i explain what they need to do to achieve a skill rather than don’t do etc. Reminds me of a time when i fell 40 ft to the ground out of a huge oak. My brother lost his balance and i fell when i was helping him regain his hold on the tree. One must always remember what you say and how you say it and where you say it and when you say it all matter. And the writing of it always matters. Good outcomes take work.
