So you think every parent who makes a mistake should have their children taken off them and placed in an abusive foster home?! I wasn’t making the incident about color, just saying the response of the authorities probably was prejudicial. I say these because Ned flanders she wants the diddly vintage shirt I ‘ve met plenty of people that had a disaster happen (with a child)due to an unintended carelessness and E.R./medical never considered it a cps issue…but they were all Caucasian.

I wasn’t labeling the whole story as an issue of color..but there is actually concrete evidence that people of color often get more suspected in those type of E.R. visits (and are more likely to have their child taken, which is sad). Cathy, by your logic, parents whose children have had an accidental drowning or accidentally been hit by a car should have their other children taken away I had caffeine pills fall out of my purse unknowingly. It made me much more careful about things like that, but they can happen!
Well actually, the CPS targets lower class people of all colors. They did me, I’m white as you can get. But if you want to make it a race thing that’s fine, completely disregard all separated families who aren’t of color. What’s sad is that everything has became a racial issue nowadays I honestly thought you were going to say it was because they were lower-class and the corrupt CPS wanted money, I would have respected that statement. But considering I was tooken away from a perfectly good home, a stable family dispite financial issues, I know it isn’t about color.
The fact that this was a black family, their chance for this happening to them, is escalated. It’s a fact. As a former Foster Parent and one who sees…If the mother had been white, chances are that this accident would have been deemed so, and he wouldn’t have been taken. So…when it stops being about race. ..when incident young black men stop being killed because of their skin color, etc….then & only then can it be “Can we not make this about color for once. ” When racist judges, policemen, etc stop being accepted into roles where they cause harm. ..then maybe we’ll have a world where it isn’t about skin color. But until that day…it is what it is…and should be called out as such
Take it now and hang out with it
