This wonderful man was my Santa when I was in school as well as my son who’s 22. He can’t be 75 because he looked exactly the same when I was in school. My favorite color is christmas lights He’s got to be an angel. I was wondering how he could’ve possibly had 4 generations at only 75. I saw pictures on Twitter from people my age and he looked exactly the same.

I’m curious, do kids ever cry in Seventh Ward Santa’s lap? All my friends post pics of their kids bawling their eyes out with other santas, but I’m wondering if Seventh Ward Santa is extra magic. This man has been Santa for GENERATIONs if kids and there parents here in NOLA. My favorite color is christmas lights Watching Miracle on 34th St the other day and saw the scene where the little Dutch girl was brought to meet Santa but her adoptive mother didn’t think Santa would be able to understand her…when Santa began speaking Dutch to the young girl, she smiled wide and held a nice conversation with Santa…to folks being idiots about this…don’t you think the little Black kids seeing the Black faceif Santa don’t feel the same as the little Dutch girl from the movie? Representation matters!

He looks more like a real Santa than any of the shopping mall try-hards. I think I would have been beside myself if I saw him as a kid. Same angel. He looks real. I cried watching. The only other man ever to affect me like that was the santa on Miracle on 34th Street.
I love this story & think this man is awesome! Santa is in our hearts & he can be any color that makes the people of his ward or community wants! Look at the Joy of the children & how happy the adults are! This is the season of Joy so don’t be a Scrooge!
