It would’ve been a better story if she was. Her whole story line should’ve been different. There was no build up to her character. She went from scrapping parts to being an expert pilot and beating trained fighters with no training. May the fourth be with you star wars day shirt Luke had to fail before he could succeed. In the original treatments Lucas sent Disney, she was. Kira Skywalker, same character different name. He also wanted to show Luke as a father. The father, the son, the grandchildren as Lucas put it The social media hate for ep8 has exhausted even this fan from 77′ – this trailer reminded me again that star wars is about hope and imagination and the saga is far bigger than all the overhyped anger over one of its episodes. Its about a lifetime of hope, imagination, wonder and love. Nearly in tears and rememebring why Ive loved this May the fourth be with you star wars day shirt so much for over 40 years right with you Jennifer, saw it first week in June as a 5 1/2 year old blown away ever since. people forget it never had to be perfect (though it seemed like ti was back then) its how it makes you FEEL, how it inspires your own imagination. the whole galaxy, just the idea of it is whats important or powerful.
Welcome to the cool collection
Exactly. Were the first 2 movies perfect? No, but it still gets to me. It brings imagination. I was 6 when I first saw it also. I love the way you put it. I got goosebumps watching this and tears in my eyes. The music had a big part in that and when Rey hugged Leia. I agree. It baffles me how people have so much crap to spew about a movie they havent even seen. If you dont like it bugger off. It wont offend any of us who know the quality of SW.
I like literally every movie regardless of what anyone thinks because its an epic story with awesome lore and is enjoyable to watch. Plain and simple I think it’s amusing how much people with an opinion get trashed over speaking their minds about a film. I think you’re allowed to have expectations, I don’t think it has anything to do with anger and hatred. If you’re labeling people that way I think it’s a bit fascist or socialist of you to present that “take it or leave it” attitude just to get your cheap fix for entertainment.
