Is anyone really dissing the doctors? One my doctors I absolutely loved until he retired. He would make helpful suggestions like go to weight watchers. Made in 69 50 years of awesomeness 50th birthday shirt I decided to ignore it. I didn’t know how to explain I had tried it 4 times. Plus I did sign up. I can tell you it’s even worse than it was in the 80s

When she said “fat girl learned to love herself and the world says stop glorifying obesity” I just wanted to cry because I see that on the internet all the time. You think someone her size has never been lectured about health and picked apart because of her weight before? Made in 69 50 years of awesomeness 50th birthday shirt Your judgement is not original, she hears it anytime someone opens their mouth in her direction. Unless you want to encourage anything other than depression, leave her alone, she doesn’t need your opinion.
Honestly, if you did “everything” and you haven’t lost weight (I find this Scientifically unlikely) you should be evaluated for more serious conditions. I can’t believe people who say they’ve done everything and didn’t lose weight because it’s absolutely impossible. By reducing 500 calories an obese person should literally be dropping weight. It should be falling left and right. medical professionals make themselves out to be the “bad guys” when they dismiss and ignore symptoms because they automatically attribute everything to a patient’s physical appearance, even without performing any diagnostic tests.

Y’all are really supportive about any other poem, but this one?? Naah, why bother, fat is unhealthy, blah blah blah. Have you even listened to the poem? Have you had any experience like the ones she’s describing? I once went to the emergency room because the antibiotics I was taking for sinusitis gave me horrible stomach pains, I could barely walk, and after explaining, the first thing the doctor said was ‘You eat a lot of bread, don’t you?’. If you’ve never been through something like this, you can’t understand how powerless and neglected you feel.
