In this very trailer they say people “made up” Michael being her brother. So I guess they’re either writing out that bit of the mythos, or they’re throwing us off the scent only to “re-reveal” the familial link in this movie. Jack skeleton I licked it so it’s mine. Though, they probably just wrote it out.
Cool Jack skeleton I licked it so it’s mine items!
How was he captured shortly after dr.loomis shot him if he disappeared after he fell out the window? it would make sense for him to have been captured at the end of part 2 when he came out of the hospital on fire. But Wouldn’t have made more sense for them to have captured him in Halloween h20(would explain the grandchild) or maybe in Halloween resurrection? Jack skeleton I licked it so it’s mine. You’re thinking about the Rob Zombie remake. In the original Michael just killed his sister and walked out of the house. The point of the original was that Michael has no reason. He’s just plainly and simply evil.
I’m confused about the sibling thing. Weren’t they mentioned As siblings in the original? Laurie Was the baby and was adopted out so she never knew that they were related? Or did I just assume that it started in the original based on the following movies?
Get it and Prepare for this Halloween!
Laurie’s father was in real estate and had her drop off the key to the old Meyers house. Michael was inside when Laurie dropped the key off and was starring at her through the door. That’s when he started stalking her at school and on the street with her friends who later became victims. I just watched the original again never brings up them being siblings. Funny shirts. It was in 2 that we found out they were siblings. The part when Marion explains to Loomis in the car that there were sealed case files that were never released to Loomis.
Laurie being Michael’s sister was a plotline introduced in part 2 which Carpenter wrote while drunk and later regretted. That was not the case in the original Halloween where Michael stalked Laurie and her friends because Laurie came to dropoff paperwork at the myers house and her friends kept taunting him while he circled the block in a stationwagon, as a direct sequel to the original they are not related at all. There were scenes in the made for TV version of the original that implied they were related but those scenes were shot during the production of part 2, so being a direct sequel to the original they are not related and I’m happy about that, now they can get back to the basics of Michael killing babysitters on Halloween with no stupid motive involved
