Well wet nurses have been a thing for a long time. How did those kids turn out. More research I guess. I’m a simple woman. I know. I was talking specifically about the situation of feeding two children at the same time. I know. I was talking specifically about the situation of feeding two children at the same time.
Cute I’m a simple woman design!
I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would have an issue with a woman feeding a child….undertones of feminism, why would that even be an issue? Feminism is about equality nothing more, its not man hating or derogatory to men….women are way, way behind in equality. I’m a simple woman. Breasts are for feeding children if the mother so chooses, there is nothing sexual in feeding infants, its not the same as shitting in public, no matter how anyone wants to twist it.
Well that’s not a problem. My mom use to breasts feed our neighbor’s daughter as her mother was sick at the same time she use to breastfeed me as well. How much is she getting paid to be in the newspaper breastfeeding is bond between mom andchild. I would not allow any woman to do it with my children.
Take it now or Cry later!
I really only have one problem here and it has nothing to do with the breastfeeding itself. When a child breastfeeds, crucial nutrients and enzymes that are specific to the genetic makeup of the child are passed along from the mother. In other words, a child’s saliva actually activates the production of those crucial nutrients and enzymes. If two different children with two different nutritional needs are feeding at the same time, it may tax the mother’s body which could lead to non-production of those enzymes for one or both of the children–effectively nullifying the whole point of breastfeeding. But, do your thing. I am NOT against this. I am simply saying that more research should be done on this.
It is a behaviour that have evolved in many mammal species, and have been evolutively selected more than once, with good outcomes almost everytime. Specifically humans have been doing this for millenia as a social surviving strategy, and it has contributed to the thriving of many human populations, even when isolated.
