Wow the true magical world of Disney. Full of wonderment, child like innocence. And fairy tale fantasies. Now Disney movies are full of smartphone jokes, If you can’t look on the bright side I’ll sit with you in the dark Instagram humor, and twerking. So sad I bet Walt Disney is twerking in his grave. Um bad joke sorry.
Cute If you can’t look on the bright side I’ll sit with you in the dark shirts!
This is not the nutcracker, this is a different story all together. I feel like they slapped the name nutcracker on it for marketing purposes and nothing more, shame I love the real nutcracker story and was excited to see a movie based on it, but this is not it. While I agree that Robin was the best genie If you can’t look on the bright side I’ll sit with you in the dark I think that the most important thing he taught us is to embrace change it’s the only way to grow..that said I bet wills performance will be amazing but in his own way!
And we all can agree at least they didn’t cast the rock as genie Not trying to take away from the fact that this movie will probably be really great, but it seems Hollywood has lost its originality. Most movies are either remakes, sequels, or adaptations. Starting to get a little bland. But that’s just me. A good movie with an original script is what I love to watch!
Get this tee and enjoy your movie!
Remakes and retelling of stories has been part of human history for thousands of years. I don’t understand why movie remakes/video games remakes are such a big deal. Directors and writers have been creating their own takes on masterpieces for years. All the way from Plato, Shakespeare to Stephen King, J.R.R. Tolkien. It’ll still be happening in the future.
Was going to add the whole $$$ factor into my comment, but it was long already, so I agree with you there. Definitely the driving factor behind all these remakes and sequels. Quite sad actually. Personally, I tend to enjoy most originals, regardless of how they did at the box office. But that’s just me….Jeff Lee Manley, I agree, there’s a value to re-telling stories. But you have to admit, it’s getting out of hand lately. We’re on our 3rd Spider-Man in the past decade, transformers is a tired series and they’re making another bumblebee movie, the original star wars trilogy was fine as it was, and don’t even get me started on the overabundance of cheap and (in my opinion) low quality entertainment of the the marvel franchise
