Pregnancy outside of wedlock because of our stupid social societal ways has a lot of emotional distress for the pregnant woman besides just being pregnant. I don’t have a step daughter I have a daughter who happened to be born. Just because some stupid scientist says that bonding occurs because of a pregnancy does not mean it’s true. My questions very simple what scientist that made this stupid remark was female?

It’s not an exception because you have unrealistic expectations that all women who eventually become mothers will accept such condition and be kind to their kids anyway. Society celebrates motherhood, promoting women to be a womb. I don’t have a step daughter I have a daughter who happened to be born. We don’t hear of how mothers sexually abuse, neglect or hurt their children due to such condition. It’s not unnatural if women are not automatically wombs, because they are fallible human beings, like everyone else. Click this shirt and become a cool mother/ father and cute daughter.
Pregnancy outside of wedlock could mean a zillion different things. Why do we as a society belittle it? As a “out of wedlock” mother, I chose not to marry for several reasons. Not least of which is my rejection of the patriarchal concept of ill-legitimate children. In my situation it was going to be stressful either way! I still bonded strongly with my child. There are many factors involved with toxic parenting. I have seen this in both my personal and profession as a Therapist, but usually it’s some form of Mental Illness. Which usually doesn’t excuse it, but sometimes helps children and adult children to heal, and sometimes even to forgive. Which is never healthy to do for the sake of said parents abuse, but for self-growth. Peace.
Be cool and stay happy!
actually it’s natural to expect a woman who wants her baby to love that baby and to care said baby. If she doesn’t then she doesn’t deserve that baby. But most mother’s love and bond with their kids. That is a fact. Those who don’t should have at least given them up to a family who would love and care for them. That is what the other person is trying to say. Most are meant to be great moms and other women should have never been born. I’ve heard several horror stories about terrible mother’s but they are not the majority.
We say in Portugal that “the evil is in the of the person who sees”. I think it totally fits here. You are just a stupid person who thinks are very educated and have a opinion based on real facts but you don’t even breastfeed a child. That’s a act of love, the purest. But I’m not expecting that a person who compares it to sex will understand it. There are some female animals that eat their babies but most are driven by instinct to nurture and care for them. There can be defective Mother’s for sure! I have seen them! Sorry you had one! My mother was like an angel!
