In general our young adults and youth have no idea about the realities of war! I am a grumpy veteran I served I sacrificed I don’t regret. You kind sir have demonstrated the human impact of war! Thank you for your service and for allowing us to see your pain and to hear your wise words.
Cool I am a grumpy veteran I served I sacrificed I don’t regret tee!
I am pretty sure I know war. Pretty sure most of the young people I know, know war too. Its not like we have been in a major conflict for the last 16 years or anything. One of the most amazing movies I have seen in years a true tribute to all the men and women that lived the hell of WW2. I am a grumpy veteran I served I sacrificed I don’t regret I am so happy that we still recognize their great sacrifice for our freedom. Lest We Forget. Couldn’t watch this clip, I know if I did I would cry….can’t handle it, I want to watch the movie but I think I’d be a mess, when I watched Pearl Harbor I cried my eyes out when the sailors were stuck inside the capsized ships….I mean I PROBABLY will watch this because it looks amazingly well done but I don’t want to at the same time. I sound crazy

brought tears to my eyes. His comment “We still do stupid things” is so true and we brag about beeing intelligent people. All politicians around the world should pay attention and stop the insanity that we are experiencing today. Funny shirts. Bless you sir, one of my Uncles was Royal Navy, my Dad Royal Artillery, two other uncles infantry, the eldest was with the London fire service, and my Mum a Dutch girl whose family, my family were liberated by allied forces during WWII. They are not here to tell the story, or re-live the moments through this film, but you are, and that means a lot and my heart is with you. I hope that this film did your brave memories justice.
