difference between bees and other insect pollinators is that bees will keep collecting pollen whereas other insects will only collect enough each day to feed themselves, then they will stop collecting until they next need to feed. So bees are by far the best at pollination. Hose Bee Lion. Bees are critical pollinators: they pollinate 70 of the around 100 crop species that feed 90% of the world. Honey bees are responsible for $30 billion a year in crops.
New collection – Hose Bee Lion design!
You know what would be awesome? If actual entomologists and bee scientists were consulted before these well-intended videos were put out there for millions to share and see. It’s a great effort, but when you have a mountain of misinformation about pollination and the role of Apis mellifera it tends to overshadow. Hose Bee Lion. The good that could have come from such a video. This could have been millions of people instead learning. About the importance of many thousands of other bee species around the world that are actually needed for our ecosystems. Efficient pollinators, and may be in far greater peril from habitat loss and other risk factors.
The European honey bee is a domesticated. Agricultural animal that is a wonderful tool developed by humans to help our farms but not the environment. It is in no danger of dying out any more than cattle and our other domesticated creatures that we nurture and care for around the world. Bees are not only insect to pollenate our daily usage of food. There is other insects that pollenate, such as ants, flays, butterflies, wasps tiny nectar sucking birds a list is endless. Then there is wind that pollenates.
Welcome to my new items!
I do know a lot about pollination, and was raised on farm in Bosnia former Yugoslavia. We studied bees from pollenating flowers of our fruit trees, vegetable, and paddock flavours and so on. Studied them in bee hives making honey for the young bees and Quine bee is they control. I studied for my school project and I received honours. I also studied other insects pollenating same affect. Did you know that we can pollenate, just by getting a chicken or bird fader and put it in the flower opening and move around it pollenates.
Wind is major pollinator of crops, like corn, wheat, sunflower, and other large crops, where bees can’t get around or insects. Googol it and find out about! It would also be helpful to those of us who care to list organizations that are working on this issue. Mention ideas about protecting bees and helping them to reproduce with an immunity to some of the agents that are killing them. Our species must prove that we actually can use our big brains to improve the lot for bees, rather than continue to decimate them.
