I was diagnosed with invasive Lobular carcinoma with DCIS and LCIS present in my right breast. May of this year I had a diagnostic mammogram on left breast which showed a small mass.. still unsure what it is.. I’m going to the operating room for a mastectomy with sentinel node biopsy and DIEP flap reconstruction surgery. In two weeks!!!!!! I have no doubt I’ll beat this!!! I’m a fighter. I’m a winner!! I won’t stop. Tamoxifen is on board also which is so tough.. but I want to live. So I fight

My cancer was on the left breast and spread to the lymph nodes, i had surgery to remove the lump and 17 lymph nodes, 5 of them were cancerous. I have been on chemotherapy since April and now i have only 6 more times to go. No family history with me either until after my first diagnosis. A distant cousin then was diagnosed and then another cousin. Sadly the second cousin passed away
Be careful. I just thought my left side was shrinking due to scar tissue. Wrong, the scar tissue became cancerous. I always fit the larger side n then wore a tight camisole to kind of help evening them out. Right breast DCIS with mastectomy 2000. Left breast stage 2 with lymph node involvement with mastectomy and DIEP procedure 2017. Both times blessed that mastectomy meant no radiation or chemotherapy. Now on Tamoxifen.
