Bad decision. Fixes nothing. Police Violence against blacks continues and the struggle is real. The league needed to support the players and be part of the solution. This rule does neither. They aren’t protesting the flag. Taking a knee is actually aiming to draw. Attention to the grief felt by a community. WSho is disproportionately victimized by police brutality. It’s to show respect and sadness for those who have died, and to draw attention to it on a public stage. It’s a plain and simple business decision- some people (I for one) will avoid or not watch games if players kneel. The inverse however is not true- people will not avoid or refuse to watch games if players are told to stand.
