Actually, that ban against tattoos is in the Christian bible too. Some of these laws were the just common sense in the days they were written. They did not have the sterilization techniques we do now. Don’t let the noise of this world keep you from hearing the voice of God. Even the ban against pork was an absolute safety factor. It carried diseases. You have to look at things in the context and time they were written. Some of these laws did not come directly from God but were safety laws in that era.
Hot Don’t let the noise of this world keep you from hearing the voice of God items!
Lets put it in a different perspective: Why would other beside the tattooed person care? I’ll never regret any of mine because they have a personal meaning and a story behind them. They’re permanent as much as my story is. I’d say most people don’t regret their tattoos. Don’t let the noise of this world keep you from hearing the voice of God. How presumptuous of you to assume everyone will regret their tats. Regretted a couple because of poor work. Got them removed by Laser. Not a trace left, no skin damage, nothing! Not that expensive either. I’m living in Australia. That may account for the procedure being not too expensive.
well, now update to current times and fish & seafood with mercury & other pollutants, being raised in feces-filled ponds; animals being fed ground up dead animal carcasses and submitted to unethical processes, produce watered with sewage and fertilized with dead animal products; even traditional meat like goat in some cultures is a free-range feeder and will eat pretty much anything which may have been okay in older times but today has given them a much-expanded food chain involving many health questionable things. Jewish “kosher” laws reflect much of this traditionally and today and would be better for all of us to consider adopting many of them. We continually allow our food chain to be poisoned and contaminated.
Get it now and have fun!
Strange how many other cultures in the same time period managed to tattoo people without killing them and ate pork and shrimp as staples of their diets and didn’t die. Funny shirts. So many Christians so many churches who claim to be the right one…each one taking a part of the Bible to claim they are the right one weather it be not to eat pork or take of blood among other things…Pork was bad for you back in those days because people didn’t know it had to be well cooked
there was good reasons at the time but we have learned from the past…we know if you drink blood for protein it can’t be digested…I had one uncle who didn’t like I wore lip stick and another who said it just showed I took pride in my appearance so go figure…it was my choice to wear make up…I wouldn’t have a tattoo and agree with my daughter the kids shouldn’t have one until they are 18 and it should have meaning…my grandson just had one meaning home and family in Japanese…the mother father and children will have the same tattoo.
