Cute Cow not today heifer tee!
Wow we need this here in Australia, so much in the news recently about police and how they deal with ppl with autism, my concern is the ones who don’t do drugs and drink, but for whatever Cow not today heifer. reason have a situation where they need to deal with police, most don’t tell ppl they have autism, I know my son hates ppl knowing so he would not tell anyone
My worst fear is that my Autistic son will come in contact with the police. I have trained him since he was little, should that day ever come, that the first thing he should say is, “I AM AUTISTIC!” He is 22 now and we still have this conversation regularly. He also has a State of Texas ID card that states “Communication Impairment” on it so the officer takes him seriously.
Don’t miss the collection!
So many lessons from each tragedy… bravo Holden and his family and law enforcement evolves in serving all the whole community… so many great police but as we keep seeing stress and guns can lead to more tragedy in dire circumstances. Thank you to Holden and Jeff Kasky for sharing this video. I agree that all law enforcement should have proper training to recognize people with behavioral or developmental disabilities to avoid brutal shootings of unarmed or frighten individuals.
My son was severely ADHD. In school starting in 1995 they just treated him like a bad kid. Every year I would send his new teacher 3 pages of tips to deal with his differences. There was no government help or school help….just a bad kid. He is 27 now and still deals with severe issues regarding his disability. This breaks my heart. You are brave, Holden and Cameron, and I promise I stand with you all to make this world a safer and better place for you and every other child/young adult.
