If this lab-grown meat stops some meat eaters from killing animals, then that’s great! Personally, anything that resembles meat is inedible to me these days. Stopping eating meat was one of the best decisions and hardest decisions of my life. I compare it to exercise or giving up smoking. Chicken rise and shine mother cluckers It’s really hard at first and after awhile, when the health benefits kick in, you wonder why you didn’t do it years earlier.

I didn’t say anything about what you choose to do, even though your choices affect those who don’t have a choice. I was pointing you towards some information. I don’t really understand why you brought up hypocrisy, just because there are people who advocate not to eat meat but also believe in abortion (not sure about the kittens and puppies, what are you referring to?) does not mean that eating meat is ethical. Chicken rise and shine mother cluckers there are thousands of more fruits, veggies, and other plant-based things on this planet than meats, maybe millions more, so vegans aren’t missing much except maybe the taste of death, torture, and cruelty that’s a by product of all meat. you call the puny little points in our mouths teeth meant for eating meat?
Go look in a real carnivore’s mouth like a tiger or even a regular house cat. That’s what teeth meant to eat meat look like. Our digestive system is not right for meat, it rots inside is before it is eliminated. Plant material goes through properly and cleans the intestines. True carnivores have a totally different digestive tract than we do. Ours is more like a horse’s than a dog’s or a cat’s. meat eaters are so sensitive about their right to kill animals and will say anything to justify it. The fact is, we don’t need meat to survive and we would be healthier without it. I liked the taste of meat too. Always had. But I woke up to the fact that my enjoyment was not a necessity and was doing harm to animals – even if I didn’t see the killing. Pretty simple really.

It’s hard to explain to someone who hasn’t stopped the habit. I get the meat eater’s defence of their love for this ‘food’. They don’t understand how they will feel once they’ve been a few months without it. We are Omnivores evolved for what we need. Our teeth are not like tigers, because we have never caught food with our mouths
we luckily had hands and a brain…( or most of us do) therefore we did not develop huge puncturing teeth to pin down pray… we develop other ways to kill our pray…I’d also like to say I have been vegan and veggie, because in most people’s day to day lives we do eat to much meat… and a detox is good. Eating meat responsibly from free range, grass fed, organic is the best way… but we are only human
