Most of the government is in the NRA’s pocket. On top of that, most of the killings in Chicago are because of looser gun restrictions Blessed by god spoiled by my husband protected by both floral. in states near them where people go to purchase guns and then bring them back into Chicago.
Cool Blessed by god spoiled by my husband protected by both floral shirt items!
What does the NRA have to do with a sociopath killing people? Where are all of your complaints about the Democrats in Chicago where far more people are murdered every year than in Las Vegas? In case my previous reply wasn’t clear enough, Isabel, the NRA having most of the government in their pocket is Blessed by god spoiled by my husband protected by both floral. why we don’t have good enough laws preventing sociopaths from getting guns and mats to turn them into fully automatic weapons.
If the government wasn’t under the NRA’s thumb, I have no doubt that bump stocks, such as the ones used to modify the rifles used in the shooting, would be illegal like non-modified fully automatic guns are. cause DT is just full of himself he cannot handle himself as being a real prez it’s not in his DNA he just has a big bank accts along with a big wallet that is all ME MYSELF AND I including family too

you obviously have no respect or understanding for the Bill of Rights and the reason they were added to the constitution. Anyhow, continue to justify why 2nd amendment rights should be curtailed just to suit your view of the world we live in. I was responding to the comment on “you can’t regulate Evil.” You can. Evil used fertilizer to make a bomb, so we regulate fertilizer. Hey, would you look at that? We haven’t had another building destroyed by a fertilizer bomb.
I don’t think you answered my question Thomas Ross – What “well regulated militia” did this mass murderer belong to? I always find it fascinating that people who claim the second amendment guarantees the right to bear arms want to ignore half the words contained in that amendment. Why? Because then their argument fails. When the Constitution was written the US had no standing army.
The Constitution was signed at the Continental Congress in 1787 and ratified by the 9th state (minimum required) in 1788. Congress did not pass a law establishing a small standing army until September 1789. So, the people did not have an unfettered right to bear arms – it was literally part of the defense of the nation as the Second Amendment makes clear.
