I love my kitties!! They like to play too! And so what they have claws haha I mean they need them. My girl loves to play chase. She’ll run A woman cannot survive on wine alone, she also needs a black cat. and hide and she’ll run after me when I hide. They like to play too. More than likely most of these kids deserved it. Especially the ginger cat where the little boy was slapping him. Teach your kids to respect your pets, or rehome them somewhere safe where they don’t have to live in fear. Cats rarely attack unprovoked.
Cool A woman cannot survive on wine alone, she also needs a black cat design!
Is there a logical reason to do that? Regardless of the semantics, what possible reason is there for the child to do that? I’m amazed anyone can defend it. There are many ways to interact with our companion animals that don’t involve hitting them in the face. I fail to see the point of doing so. A woman cannot survive on wine alone, she also needs a black cat. You’ll never convince me otherwise. Both the kids and cats should be trained. Don’t ever hit your pets. There are better ways to train cats not to bite and scratch or even attack a person.
Did you see how many attacks were 100% unprovoked though? The kids didn’t even know the cat was there and were certainly not bothering them. Cats can be straight assholes for no reason. Most of them this was the case. Some, the kids brought it on themselves. If you think they never attack unprovoked, you’ve obviously never owned one! Yes many of them do attack unprovoked. I’ve had several cats, all different personalities and some of them are jerks!

Same to you, Mary. You’re obviously stuck in the Stone Age if you think it’s cruel to keep cats indoors or it’s okay for a child to harm an animal because ‘it’s just a cat’ (or dog). You’re one of those special ones who lets their kid yank on a cat’s tail or a dog’s ears then beats them when they snap out on said child. The only times I have ever seen a cat attack was when it was provoked. I used to babysit the two kids next door and a few years ago they got two cats. The boy (who was about 7 or 8 btw) used to constantly chase the cat. I always used to hear his parents shouting at him through the wall about chasing the cat and when I used to babysit, I would tell him to leave the cat alone too.
Then one day, I was waiting for the parents to come home, shortly after I had sent them to bed, I heard running upstairs and the cat came hurtling into the living room, closely followed by the kid. He had the kitten backed into a corner, where he couldn’t escape, and the poor little thing was terrified. The cat then went for his legs and bit the shit out of him, then took advantage of his shock to run away. I let the cat do it because the little shit had been plaguing him for the whole time they had him so far. Guess what? I have babysat a few times since, and he has left the cat alone, other than playing with him and stroking him.
